I am a big believer in hard science, and I'd put my faith in NASA research before proclaiming that "a few good rains" is all it'll take to returns things to normal.

NASA expects unprecedented mega-drought in West and Southwest to last for many decades.

We just need to pipe it in from the Mississippi, every spring it floods. We create pipelines for oil, why not water

All I know is Ray Hub will need more than a few good rains because they're not getting water from Lavon anymore. Ray Hub will probably never be the same.

CNN is just about as bad as TMZ when it comes to bad reporting. And NASA is no longer even considered a viable source for technology superiority, much less global environmental information and forcasting.

Seems like I heard a lot of predictions about how bad this winter was going to be. How has that worked out?

There is not one thing I can do personally to raise the lake levels. I figure that's God's department and when he is ready they will fill back up. They will be full again someday. Not gonna fret about it or stress about it.

Until then I am just gonna make do with what we have and enjoy each day on the water the best I can.

The drought will end with a flood. Always does. That's why there are dump trucks, a gravel washer, and conveyors in Lake Grapevine. The lake filled in weeks instead of months and they have been there since 1952.
