X2------that's a fact! you redo an older boat with new wiring and hoses and when you're through, you know where every squeak and bump is. if it does break, you can go right to the problem without any trial and error.

I'd much rather fish with someone that knows their own boat. That is why I think it is sometimes good to rebuild a busted motor if you really like the motor even if it is older. You know every bit of the motor and when it does have an issue you get right to the problem with little down time. Being stuck 10 miles from the ramp is no fun especially when it was an easy fix.
