Well the water temp has been rising quickly. The water temp today was 49-50 degrees on the main lake and I found 65 degree water in the back of a channel yesterday afternoon. The lake is still 5ft low and falling. We desperately need some rain. As spring gets closer our fish will start moving shallower and birds will start working over the fish more. The schools of fish during winter months are huge and slow moving on most days. It’s common for us to pull most of our fish on each trip from one school of fish. Friday we pulled 89 fish from a single school. Saturday we put three boats on one school of fish and each boat pulled about 60-75 keepers before leaving the school. Deep water fishing has never been so easy as it is this time of year. Just remember to fish slow and watch for light bites. Best baits are from www.Moestackleshop.com & www.Constantpursuitoutfitters.com Sunday 1/2 day trip 120 white bass Sat am trip Sat am trip Sat am trip Sat pm trip in 30 mph winds Sat pm trip in 30 mph winds Friday trip 100 fish Call 903-288-5798 or book online at www.bigcrappie.com to reserve your next Trip of a lifetime! Seminar trips too!

We tried it Saturday , but the wind drove us off about 12:30 . Chuck , are you still finding them in the channels at mid lake ? Love those Thump Buddies from Constant Outfitters.

Yea were still catching them deep. We are fishing between Enchanted & as far south as Pitts. I am running from my dock so I start out mid lake. Lane trailered this weekend so he started out close to Pitts. 50 from yesterday My last several trips has been off the same spot. It sure makes it nice when I dont have to move the boat around to find fish. We started and finished the trip in the same location. Yesterday we caught these in about 2 hours. Biggest one was exactly 17 inches. A monster white bass.
How's them sac'au lait running?
catching a few but there not great yet. I am sure if I spent 4 hours chasing them I could get a small mess of 10-15 but I don't think my customers would want to do that when we can catch 75-100 white bass in the same amount of time.
