I did a ton of research... Or so I thought. And weighed the price options and a couple years ago I bought a Jackson coosa. Well that was a huge mistake for me atleast. Always felt unstable, never comfortable etcetera. So I tried some other boats and decided it was gonna be a hobie PA. I'll be buying in the next month or so and am stuck between a 12 or 14. I even went as far as to call hobie directly. I'm leaning heavy towards a 14. Do yall that have one, particularly the 2015 models have any pros/cons recommendations?

Please pay a visit to our store, Mariner Sails, and you will be able to take an immediate "dry spin" (or set up a demo) in either a PA-12 or PA-14. We have new 2015's immediately available in all three PA colors and still have a few new 2014's (both 12's & 14's) in stock.
In addition, we can have a little visit and possibly be able to make a recommendation which PA might be best for your personal use.

Like you, I debated on what high-end kayak to buy for quite a while and I ended up buying the PA 12 my choice was made easier since I bought it for $2000 even with no tax. I bought it brand new at the bear mountain (2014 model) ended up saving $1300. Either one would be a great choice it all depends on your style of fishing and where you plan to fish mostly.

Seems like everybody is getting these things cheaper than the 3k price tag they carry everywhere else.

If price is an issue you can find some really good deals on used Hobies on Craiglist. You may have to travel some.

The 12 and 14 are both good boats. The only reasons I think someone would choose a 12 over a 14 would be for hauling or storage reasons. If you are fishing such tight areas that the 2' makes a difference, you may want to consider a pedal boat that has reverse (propel). As far as comparison of the 12 and 14, the 14 only weighs a bit more, has more capacity, more stability, better tracking, and price is about the same. I think they are easier to resell as well. Let Mariner or other shops price one out for you - can't hurt to see what they can do.

I thought about a PA 14 but bought a 12. I have never needed more room. I agree the 14 would have been too long in some of the tight spots I have been in. Either way you will love it!
