After accruing some flex time over the weekend, Tuesday seemed to be the best time to beat the wind and hit the Pines with my boys. My oldest doesn't always like to fish in the boat...my youngest does. Sam is a heck of a pond fisherman...he can throw his pole down with the best of them and run around the pond 5 times and pick the pole back up and fish...LOL!!! Sawyer I never worry about because when he is bored, he takes a nap and is back at it. The boys were on the Crappie at the back of the boat...They pulled their fair share in the boat and gave a hoot and a holler with each one...It warmed my heart to hear "Got one Dad! Sammy pulling them in like he was bass fishing...I asked him to slow down and stop horsing them in...his reply..."That's how they do it on TV" Gotta love it! Then the bickering starts between each other about who the better fisherman is...who has the most experience lake or pond fishing...according to Sam it was an EPIC Day on the pines and he said he had a Great Time fishing with his Dad and Brother...Well Ill take that and hope he's that enthusiastic the next time we venture out for some mandatory fishing day...

So here is the fishing report...28 foot was the best although caught fish anywhere from 20 to 28...minnows were the ticket...drifting 35 Crappie, 2 Cats, 2 Bream and 7 Yellow Bellies...Team Stone...No Fish is Safe!

Nice to see dad and the boys for a day on the lake. Good memories that last forever. Nice catch!
