Lake Palestine.
Is it difficult to put in at 315 Kickapoo ramp and get to hawn point/old folks? Don't I have to idle out even with bridge before going east/southeast? Been years since I was up there.

Just take a right after you come out of the 315 ramp boat lane, stay out maybe 75yds off the bank for a way. You will see some boat lane markers when the bank starts to turn more north. Follow the bank till you get to the cut to right. That puts you in old folks area. Lake is full now so should be easy in. Lots of stumps once you turn back to the left in old folks. All this area is idle only.

I would just put the TM down and fish from the ramp back to Old Folks
Plenty of fish between the 2

If I put in at this ramp how do I get to the main lake to where I can run south. Also how long would it take to get to main lake where I could run. Or would I be better of to trailer?

Thanks

With one hand on the good book and a flask of whiskey in the other.....

That run is one of the worst there is to make in the state of Texas as far as i'm concerned.

You could put in at flat and run the bank almost all the way to old folks.
