Curious to see the feedback. I just bought the helix 5 but I'm barely learning it. I still need to go buy the lakemaster card.

It's a great day because I'm not 6 feet under.

You didn't mention Side Imaging. I would get the Helix 5 SI GPS Combo. I highly recommend Side Imaging.

I have to admit the side imaging on the helix 5 is pretty cool. Shows great detail on the bottom. I need to take somebody that knows more than I do to show me how to work it.
It's a great day because I'm not 6 feet under.

You didn't mention Side Imaging. I would get the Helix 5 SI GPS Combo. I highly recommend Side Imaging. And if you shop around online you can find these units well below 500 tyd That's what I'll be buying soon.

Am replacing, about to, my purchased last year HB 598ci SI HD Combo with HB 1199c. Comes with bow mounted with Transducer TM mount. Unit is great, just too small for my old eyes. 5" screen going to 10". It does have everything on it you want and side imaging. Any interest in buying when I have my new one installed? God Bless

You can find the Elite 5 HDI and 7's right now for dirt cheap. Picked up bother for under 800 dollars. The down imaging is just as amazing as they show it. Check out Academy. They have the 5 for 299 and the 7 for 450.

I have a small console on my boat and one of them is going to take up the space I have but I was looking at the hummingbird 598 si/gps. But for some reason I love the helix 5 si/gps theres just not many people who have done reviews on them yet and Im one of those type that likes to see what other people think before I buy.

Will shortly have a HB 598ci SI HD Combo for sale. Currently mounted in my bow. If interested. Has a Navionics card in it now. Unit was bought from Cabelas and professionally installed by my marine mechanic listed in my signature, a little over 1 year ago. Works great, just these old eyes can't see that small 5" screen as well any more. Upgrading to a 10" newer HB so I can see things... Everyone on here, for the most part, knows me and that I take care of my equipment. God Bless Picture:

Momma just bought me lakemaster for my helix 5. As soon as I can get on the lake I'll do a review (in a week or two once my grandson is born)
It's a great day because I'm not 6 feet under.
