We'll ventured to north end of the lake for the first time. Couldn't find the pipeline tell I saw someone flying through it. Went over there to see if I could find the path down to the island. Got over there and started idling down it on the left side toward the island but on the way back I stayed to the right idling and close to the end hit a stump. Right when you start down pipeline to the island do you stay to the right of the green marker and go between the green and green/red mixed marker? Thank you for any advice

If you are referring to the North/South pipeline it is probably one of the most dangerous runs you can make on what some refer to as a "boat Run" on Palestine. That stump you hit is basically in the middle of it and has a large piece of skeg buried in the top of it and no it is not mine fortunately Your best bet at this level is to stay about 60 yds off the east bank to the powerline then head down the powerline.

I only run the pipeline when the water is down enough that it can clearly be seen . Hug the east side. Full pool, run off the bank like Tom said, but there are some stumps on that route also.
Best bet is to hire Mr. Mayne to show you how to run it...your welcome Tom Mayne guide service.

If your on plan with the water being hi like it is you want hit it. When you idle your boat sets a lot deeper in the water.

Pull more than one guy back to the ramp who tried to make that run! just go the power lines and run those.

The cobra has definitely been broken in up north this year. Tom I was hoping stew wouldn't look his skeg over.
