Just emailed Humminbird to get a clarification on their requirement. When you sign up for the rebate, you must send your original sales slip in to Humminbird. Now if you sign up for the Humminbird Select program and you need warranty service it states you must send your original sales slip in. Now these are like birth certificates you only get one. So hopefully they can clarify that.

If you purchased it on the Internet, just print another copy of your sales invoice. Otherwise, that's a good question, how to make one receipt do double duty.

Here's the reply from Dawn at Humminbird.

A copy of the sales receipt will be acceptable for warranty service or replacement of the unit if it needs to come in for service at any time. The rebate, however, will need to be the original so make copies of the original before submitting the rebate for your records.

So im guessing that you save the email you get from the seller online and that is what you use for the warranty?

Ltc, yes that is right. When I signed up for the rebate, the retailer I bought it from was not on the list, so I just used All Resellers as the merchant, I sent a Order Receipt and a Paypal receipt showing the money was paid to the seller (Universal Mania). That is the best I can do, it they disapprove it, then I did the best I could.
