We've had some pretty good luck the last few weeks at Lewisville. Bait (6-10" gizzards) has been easy pickings around the main creek in 50-55' fow. The bites have been slow in the mornings and good in the afternoon. These 70 degree days are really warming up the shallow water (lower 50's) and the big ones are liking it. Lots of teens, 20's, 30's and a 42. All fish have been caught in 3-10 fow.

Went last friday mourning caught 7 in deep water. No bigguns. Lost a new 7' taped net in 50 fow caught a lone tree/bush right on the bottom. Could not get it up by hand had to tie to boat only pulled up the rope

There must've been a law abiding log that didn't want you to get a ticket. That was probably the cheapest way you could have lost that net.
