I fish Conroe quite a bit, and have been making a trip to Toledo every couple of months. But looking for a change of pace a little closer to home. I fished Lake Raven today, and like always I had a tough time out there. There weather is going to be perfect these next couple of days. I have never fished any of these three and have always wanted to. I have maps for Fayette and Gibbions but not Houston. What would yall suggest to fish this week?

For ease of fishing and possible numbers of decent fish I would go to Fayette on a day the wind wasn't much above 10 mph.

That lake has a great fish population. A good day is 30+ fish.

Thanks for the responses. We went out on Conroe and hit the motherload with mega schools of hybrids. Going back tommorrow with a cooler!

Gibbons is only opened Friday - Sunday and gates don't open until after 6am. Good luck.
