I've heard about a product called Mend It used to repair torn plastics. Does this stuff work? Does the bait remain flexible? Any better product out there? Where can it be bought?

I have a "worm welder" that works great.

Just heat up an old kitchen knife and lay it on the tear. I use mendit on expensive lures that have fancy finishes like swimbaits and what not.

Super glue man. Works great and cheap. I use it all the time.

Mend-it is the shizzle! Super glue leaves your bait hard where you glue it

I've used it a little and it seems to work decently.

We used Mend-It on magnum flukes at El Salto and it worked great. Good thing because we had a limited number of these big lures and they were the ticket on that trip.
