 Free Shad at Lake o the Pines

I have quite a bit of shad to anyone that can come pick it up. I'll be at the lake until tomorrow around lunch time. PM me and come and get it.

Can' believe you couldn't give the shad away. Just now got back from Tawakoni. Bill and me went to Patman Saturday and could not find the fish but we did net some great shad for bait. We caught 20 fish today with the biggest going 47 pounds. My best so far. Everything else under 9 pounds. Thanks again for the tips on the taped net.

I've alWays been told by a "local" that there are not any shad In the pines. Hmm. Guess so

I've alWays been told by a "local" that there are not any shad In the pines. Hmm. Guess so I saw that local on Pines Friday and he had a cooler full of big gizzards. I'm glad I took the "teach a man to fish" route or we would both still be catching his bait for him. There are more shad on Pines than any other lake I have seen so far. Make him start bringing you a few gallons when he comes your way. That is the least he could do after you gave him bait and coordinates for so long.

Since I was unable to give this shad away, I will be forced to go fishing again on Thursday to keep it from being wasted.
