Well, I finally got that skunk stank off of me. Today was a B-E-A-Utiful day on LL. Fish weren't exactly jumping in the boat but were able to catch a few.

It was a beautiful day to be on the water. Catching some crappie made it perfect. Did you catch enough for a meal?

Nope. let'em all go. I have a personal 11" rule. I throw everything back under that. None of them made the cut.

What lake? There's a lot of difference in east Texas lakes and the ones in North Texas. I was over at Fork yesterday and the Elm trees are in full bloom. ( good thing Elm pollen does not bother me) Here in Allen, the bloom hasn't even started. Every year those of us who fish the Northern lakes are tortured by the early reports from Belton and Lake Waco.

John 21:3 Simon Peter saith unto them, I go a fishing. They say unto him, We also go with thee.

I was at LL yesterday fishing from the shore in me ol honey hole. Found meself a school of chad, but not just any chad these chad had magical powers. These magical chad took me on a field trip to the land of the crappie fish! And they were in less than 6 ft of water. So when in doubt follow the chad.
