Headed to Amon G on Saturday morning. Got three coworkers bring their boat and I as well. We are gonna try to locate crappie and sandies and have a little bragging right tournament. I just want to kick my bosses hind end. He lives around there so I want to take him out at his own lake

don't let them get to ya sir ... them there Chinese crappie on the new lake side are TUFF brother they have made life difficult for me several times I want to go take a crack at them soon nothing quite beats a really slick super clear water crappie fish dropping jigs on dumb cant see fish is easy ketchn them I can see YOU crappie is a whole new ball game

Well Ketchn, I would love to learn how to catch those "I can see You" Crappies. But I don't there's a jig in the world for me to Ketchm'. When they look up past that jig and see that ugly mug hanging over my yak, that's when they grow feet and all I see is crappie heel dust.

Well I finally found them close to the end of the day. when I first got there my trolling motor didn't work so I had to anchor at each spot. my depth finder was not in yet I took my old off thinking I would have my new one before I went fishing. UPS never showed up. I probley scared off all this fish when I would throw my anchor in. We met this old timer and he told us they where in about 18ft deep and he was right. we managed to catch a few. Close to the end of the day. needless to say I will back this weekend coming. the bite is really soft and if you don't have Berkley power bait on your jig they wont hit it. this old man caught about thirty in about 30 min he was just yanking those bad boys out. He is the one who told us how deep they were so yes there biting. I did whip my boss hind end he didn't catch any.
