Took my new boat to a small lake here in town because I was a bit nervous about going to texoma with the wind, but found out pretty quick that this boat does ptrtty good in wind. Peddled with ease. I've been in a kayak a total of three times my entire life and this was the first time in the slayer, but felt comfortable enough to try to stand. Stood with no problem at all. Needles to say, I'm in love with this yak! Super big thanks to Chris and James at Mariner Sails for taking the time and helping me with all my questions, now I know what all the hype is about with Mairner, they are an awesome bunch of guys.

Thanks hawk I seen when u got your hobie then the next day filled it up with some nice cats. sweet kayak man, I looked at one when I got mine and really liked how it looks but my better half is the one that helps me load mine and I think the hobie would be a bit too much for her. I have no regrets with the slayer though.

I was very fortunate that day, plus I've listened and learned from Christian, KQT and host of others that have been nothing but kind to me! Adrian and Cyber Zombie are great to be around on and off the water. I can't wait to go out again with all those folks.
