I use a Booyah ultra light umbrella rig remove the grub and put on the minnow. I tried the grub they were not interested in artifical bait. I also troll with a 1/4 egg sinker...

I was out at Canyon on Monday and there were no white bass to be found anywhere around the mouth of the river. I fished it from about 9-3 and never even saw a white bass caught. I was using minnows and spoons. I did manage to pick up 4 crappie drifting around the flats and that was all I saw or heard about being caught. Does anybody know if they have moved upriver yet or are they still coming and going from the main lake?

Something to remember not all white bass go up the river. The truth is a consideration amount of them actually head to the back of coves that have springs and creek running in the lake.
