I will be heading that way Saturday Morning, have been gathering a lot of info on times, jig head color and plastic colors the last few weeks and hope to get a limit out there. Oh and what slip to fish in as well. Early bird gets the worm as they say.

I think slow fishing is still better than NO fishing . I have heard all the fish caught was all hogs.

Well we were fishing in the boat around few dock down from ya'll, ended up with 7 keepers. I had to let go around 6 nine inchers. We got into a Dadgum school of drum! I bet I caught 7 drum and wasted a lot of my smaller minnows. They were fun at first until I realized they killing my minnow and then it was just aggravating as a hemroid. Well my 3 year old had a blast anyways. Wish the best of luck to the men and women of La Mancha.

If all goes to plan, I'll be there early Saturday morning too. Headed there from Priddy, TX down in Mills County.

Take a good look at what you're about to eat. It's not important to know what it is, but it is important to know what it was!
