Article in the Dallas Morning News today indicating the boat ramp at Little Ridge Park is now open. Only one boat can launch at a time. Better than nothing!! Glad to hear this news. All other boat ramps are still closed.

I know a few people who went recently and said its a desert full of shad. The lake has been low for 2 years with tons of fishing pressure. It needs water and time. I love lavon. It's closest to me, but it's in a sad state right now.

Tons of fishing pressure? There hasn't been a boat ramp touching the water in months, right?

I didnt understand flounders post either. The lake might be full of shad but there have been very few fishermen on the lake in months since all the ramps have been closed for launching. The only boats on the lake had to come from Collin Park where the fishermen kept their boats and there probably hasnt been many of those. I plan to check the ramp out that has been opened and give it a try if it looks ok.
