Going to hit Texoma on Saturday. Havent been to this lake since back in 1998. I was wondering if anybody can help me out with what bait to use and where to fish at. I will be fishing from a boat. Any help would be appreciated

Sassy shad .. Glow and or chartruse 4" with 3/4 or 1 oz head.
Fish are literally all over the lake so wherever you are launching from you shouldnt have to go far to find fish. Look for underwater structure like river/creek ledges and work them over. fish are holding tight to this type of stucture. Then of course keep your eyes open for the birds working... If you see it then thats a pretty good indication there are fish there as well. Sassys under the birds is good for pretty non stop action

Well if it was last week I would tell you to look for my boat then go somewhere else cause there wasn't much happening where I was at!

These guys are well versed fishermen and kept their prescribed limits... No need to accuse them of foul play, to prevent further agitation I will remove the photo... Go figure.

dunno bout u guys but I count at least 8 overs in that picture. either that or my screen is playing tricks on me.

make sure your bilge pump is working,,the wind on lake texoma
will reach 30 mph and you should have some 3ft waves..

30mph should mean 3-4 foot waves. I was in 20-25mph and I was seeing up to 3 foot swells already

HAVE NOW RECEIVED NEW WEATHER REPORT AT 815 PM.WIND SHOULD
REACH 35 MPH ON TEXOMA..WILL SOME ONE PLEASE TAKE A GOOD
EXACT MEASUREMENT OF WAVE HEIGHT..

Looks like to me that there were 21 fish with a possible 13 overs...Hope they had at least 7 anglers on the boat....joebear
