Hello kayak fisherman! I fish out of a sea eagle pontoon boat. It is a 12' by 4' inflatable craft. On windy days this boat is so hard to control that I can't even fish, so I spent 700 dollars and got a powerpole micro. I noticed that the top of the powerpole spike is threaded to accept a go pro, but i'm wondering if any manufacturer makes an LED pole light that I could thread on there. Thanks in advance- Balazs

I would get something round and flat with a female threaded section. Then put a NaviSafe light on it.

Something like this. It's a threaded table base I found in a quick search. You could also get a female/female coupler to allow it to fit the pole

Then put this on it. The Navisafe is battery powered and coast guard approved. It's very bright and floats as well. It's comes with a magnetic base you could afix to the threaded base or if might even stick already with the base being metal.

I'm about to do this same install on my boat, so I'm doing a little research for the both of us. This is called a steel weld nut. It looks like they come I various sizes.

What about one of these ran through the bottom plate with the magnets: https://www.fastenal.com/web/products/de...VendingMachine=

I think you might be onto something. I'm going to drive to ace hardware or grainger when I have time and see if I can get a male to male threaded adapter to hook into weld nut.
