I'd kinda like to.... Just to fish that lake on the first 80 degree day of the year... Have a feeling someone's got a chance at something special with the weather pattern that's setting up...
From what I've seen the Austin guys who have endless days off for prefishing haven't actually caught really any fish at all... I think it could be anybody's tourney to win if they know what to throw ;-)

Elm Creek Village. I think that's the only facilities open at the lake at this point. Here's the cap city info page...

tough fishing in pretty nice weather. 9/27 anglers caught 12 fish with a 3 bass bag at 46" the winner and big bass at 22.5. a 26 was caught friday. the ramp at concho is about 6 inches from being unusable for motor boats, and 1.5' from closed altogether, i'm guessing. water was very pretty, with 2 feet of vis and 47-48 degrees.
