Just couldn't get into throwing the heavier A-rigs so I bought the Yum ultralight
with 3 wires.

Anybody tried one of these? Thoughts?

Yes I have tried it but like the 5 wire one better, mostly because I have caught more on the 5 wire one than the 3 wire. I bought the 3 wire one to fish more around timber.

I try to keep the 5 wire one out of the timber as much as possible.

^This. It's the only A-rig I throw. It's just a confidence thing but I guess I have confidence in it for a reason

I would definitely throw something like that in the fall or summer when I'm fishing shallower. I would have a hard time keeping that thing down to 20'-30' I like it though

Checkout ron rigs. He sells em on this forum. I LOVE THEM. He makes a smaller 5.5" rig if you're not into the bigger ones. Personally, I'll use the bigger and smaller ones depending on how i feel that day..
