My wife and I are going to spend a week on Toledo Bend in May. I am looking for a good map of the lake. Who makes the best one?

Good map, and a good GPS unit as well! Boat lanes on Louisiana side are good, Texas side, somewhat of a guess at times! Lance Vick offers an add-on for your GPS that gives you the lanes, good product. Search for Boatlanes.

Thanks guys. I was hoping for something like a Martins Map but I guess the Hook & Line will have to do.I already ordered the Lance Vick boat lanes chip for my 12 touch so am good to go there. Staying at Fin & Feather so if anyone wants to give me a little advice on that area it would be appreciated. Going May 11th till May 18th. Wish us luck. LOL

I was just there this weekend. This weather had them in a funk. It should be full on spawn time when you get there. The lake will be very busy. Good luck

More like full blown post spawn. Main lake grass topwaters and flukes. Shad spawn

I have spent lots of time in that area... Not much reason to go and run the entire lake. Housen has some great fishing. Just find the grass and you will find the bass.. stay in the boat lane in housen and putt putt the rest... timber is everywhere there. watched a FLW pro come out of housen towards main lake and was way out from the bank and ran aground and ripped off his motor...OOPS...
