Just had a really good burger in Mckinney at The One and Only Burgers. Probably the best burger that I've had in Mckinney. Bacon cheeseburger was $5 and the fries were real potatoes. Corner of Hwy 5 & 380.

I haven't read the whole post but I will add a plug for The Green Pickle in Glen Rose. Just had a great burger there today. Grilled onion and cheddar burger. I feel like I am pretty particular and this place exceeded expectations. Everyone in our group had a great burger.

Rodeo Goat is now open in Dallas as well as Cowtown.
Spouse had the Nanny Goat Burger and is still raving about it 5 hours later.
I had the Hot Ba$tard and it was all the heat I could handle.
Great service, lots of really nice looking women, and great food.
What's not to like?

Best is Little Red Wagon in Round Rock on highway 79, close second is Schroeder's Place on 79 between Thrall and Thorndale. Still use same old griddle for over 65 years. Was opened by Gilbert Schroeder after WWII, after his death his daughter runs it. Old time beer joint with burgers, chips, and cold beer and sodi water only.

I haven't tried the place but I see a lot of people stacked up around Baker's Hamburgers in McKinney, it must be good.

I hope it is better than the one in Marshall.
First time I went had CFS, very good.
Second time I ordered a cheeseburger and fries and a drink.
Cheese burger was so so-nothing to brag about.
The french fries, however, were terrible. Soft, extremely greasy, and tasted like they had not changed the fryer oil in months.

Had another good one last week. Garland Cafe at Buckingham and Shiloh behind the Racetrack in north Garland. A 1/2 lb. bacon, cheese burger with fries and drink for $5.95. The place was packed.

I have eaten burgers all over the state and still have not found a burger as good as Coyote Bluff. Killer fries too.

Allan's Hitchin Post - on 154 just south of Yantis, Their smashburger basket is quite good. Lots of room for parking boat and trailer after a long day fishing on Lake Fork.
