looking for the high pressure fuel pump in this motor. Model number Vx200TLRY . Fuel pump part number is 66k-13907-00-00. Just seeing if anyone has one by any chance before buying a new one at cost. Thanks

Ouch. Those aren't cheap. Sim Yamaha usually has good prices if you have to go new. They have been a great part source. Saw one on eBay that appeared to be genuine Yamaha for $100 less than Sim.

Ok Thanks! Whats the lifespan on a aftermarket one? I just bought this motor off a friend about 3 months ago & know it hasent been abused by any means. Just my luck I think, But Just wondering if im better off paying cost of yamaha one or aftermarket ? Id like to get a aftermarket for half the price but I dont want to be replacing it here in a year or two.

The one I saw on eBay looked to be an actual Yamaha part. There were several aftermarket ones though. I wouldn't go that route personally. Sim only sells original Yamaha parts. Just curious, how did you determine it failed? It's usually the low pressure pumps that go.

Ohok, Replaced all 3 low pressure fuel pumps 3 months ago. Sent injectors off to be clean and etc. Replaced filter & cleaned filter in vst tank as well. Was running Wot and motor just shut off. No warnings or anything. Would not start back. Couldnt hear pump kick on when I turned key after. Got home & droped vst tank. bypassed ecu & went straight 12v to it. It kicked on. Thought I was in buisness. Put back together and went back out. Cranked fine & idled out about 75yards. Got on plane about 5 seconds and fell flat on its face again. No sound from pump again. Hooked volt meter to it. Getting 12.8 volts for 3 seconds or so at pump and then drops as it should. Hooked up fuel pressure gauge at schrader valve. No pressure at all. My best guess is hp electic fuel pump. But found main ground wire loose & from what ive been reading yamaha didnt put lock washers on them & Plano Marine in longview said they feel once rpms got above 1200 or so ecu couldnt make a complete circuit and fuel pump maybe failing at higher rpms . But I do wish it was low pressure fuel pump & checked them again and they are fine.

Bummer. Looked in the Yamaha manual for any specs I could find. All I found is that the HP fuel pump should have 0.53-0.57 ohms. Just another check before dropping $400+. Now that there is more info, maybe some other experts will chime in as a cross check before you drop the dough for a new one.

Update : Ended up being hp fuel pump. A friend of mine ended up having the same hp pump I needed, He changed his awhile back & ended up not being the problem so I got a pretty good deal on it. Changed it out this morning & Everything went great! Needless to say I will make sure that ground wire never comes loose again. Now back to fishing!!
