  Hello crappie lovers. I went to the crappie seminar today in Shreveport. The seminar will be there again next week. They also had a quick seminar on kayak fishing. I saw a new Ascend D12 on clearance for 249.99 dollars outside and I bought it. Wow! I will try it out for crappie fishing in the spring. They also had several crappie long rods for sale for 39 bucks. I buddy also went out with his wife to the Chicken coop on a Toledo Bend today. They caught a couple small ones. Have a crappie Super Bowl to everyone.

Went tonight and picked up some "Bobby Garland" jigs to replenish my box. Also picked up another Fish Checker,some slip floats and the four pack of crappie nibbles (got two four-packs). All the stuff was on sale. C'mon spring!!

Good luck with spring crappie fishing. Please post pictures if you catch them slabs. I would like to see them.
