I have the zx 190 with a 150 2 stroke. I love my boat in all aspects. Good ride, quick hole shot. I don't think that tzx comes with rod holders, I would have those installed.

You can get a Skeeter manuel from any dealer which will have all the options in the back of the book.

Have a 2014 zx200 with 200hp Sho. Great boat, no complaints.

It also is on a single axle trailer. You have to step up to the ZX series to get the dual. It is also a little shorter than the ZX.

As for options. You can put most any thing you would want on it; if the dealer is willing. Start with the depth finder and get the best that you can afford.

Each person you work with holds some promise to your future success.

My 2006 SX190 with a VMAX 150 2 stroke still fires up no problem, gets on plane quick, good gas mileage and is stable when fishing. Handles big water lakes, but I wouldn't get stupid. Not sure about the 150 Sho, but I'm sure the gas consumption is a lot better than the big motors. It would be a good entry level boat with plenty of storage and room for accessories later.

They handle like a lil sports car, very responsive.. I had a 2000 ZX190 with a 150 hpdi.. Only regret I didn't max out the hp, should have got the 175 on it... It ran low 60's........ thumb

my son has a 2013 TZX190 with a 150. Boat is great. Fully loaded with gear he'll run around 55 mph. Great hole shot, but the bigger 200's and 250's go on by. He and I fish several local tourny's out of it, the back deck is plenty big enough to fish off. Check the livewell, if it has a divider in it, have them pull that out. We caught a 9.5 out at fork and it wouldn't fit in there with the divider, we have since pulled it out. I know the bigger 21 ft'ers can handle the big water a little better, but this boat is like a small sprint care. Makes getting around the the thick sticks much easier. He got a minn kota 90 lb thrust trolling motor that moves the boat well in high winds. His in on a tandem axle trailer and pulls very well behind his F150, doesn't change his gas mileage much at all.

They actually have the 190 that comes on a tandem, but the one I am purchasing is a single axle. I will not be traveling long distances with mine. I sure hope it has rod holders on it! Does anyone else know if the 2014 does not have rod holders? It has 2 HB 728's on it but I had them add a 999 with RAM Mount. Thanks for the info and I will take all I can get. I pick it up next Sat in Ark.

It has rod holders. You can expect mid-uppers 50s with the 150. It is a great handling boat. It uses the same hull as the ZX190. With a 23 pitch prop you can expect a great hole shot.
I have a single axle trailer with my ZX. So far I have not had any issues in the 2 1/2 years I have had it.

I don't know what pitch skeeter runs on that SHO, but my HPDI ran a 25M and it'd scoot like I said low 60-63 gps depending on load and water temp..jm2c's

I have heard that the compartment lights are prewired. Is this true or is there lights in the compartments?
