I've been approached by the boss about "sponsoring" myself and a partner this year on a team circuit. Will cover entry fees and a little for fuel/oil.
Every little bit helps but... what would you allow on your boat for that.
I told him shop logo on the top cap and maybe a wrap with logo on the motor.

I guess it would depend on what the shop name is. Lol. I have a neighbor that owns a chain of day care centers and it's called "Bambi". He had a bad [censored] Z71 truck with a pink Bambi decal on each side. For the longest I thought it was his wife's truck! roflmao

Well they mentioned a wrap.. while I see some positives about a wrap, I also know there are some negatives as well. Mostly in the removal process. And, I like my boat the colors and way it is now.

A wrap, if installed correctly, can be removed pretty easily. I had an HHR Panel that was wrapped and it cleaned off very easily when I went to trade it. OTH, a boat could be a much harder job depending on the quality/condition of the gel coat. Wouldn't want to say it would be an easy job without knowing for sure.

In my opinion, I think a wrap looks better than decals. But, again , IMO. I would have the sponsorship pay for the wrap, installation of the wrap, and prepay for the removal of the wrap at the end of the tourney season. Unless the wrap just looks awesome. Lol.

They'd spend more money on the wrap than the entry fees. I'd take the money for the wrap and put it for expenses.

Just got told it's a go. Entry fees and a little for gas, etc. No wrap, small decals on my cap (my choice of design, color, etc)
Thanks for the feedback guys.

go with a motor cover from TuffSkinz and have the logo put on there. that'll get his logo\name out there and also saves your boat colors.
