Called Lone Star (Don's Port) this morning, and they said ramp may not be available until mid-March, which means a 15 mile drive to Log Cabin as (I believe) my only option. What's public opinion on leaving my boat "in the water" for a month? It's never sat in the water for more than a weekend. Thought, maybe if I waxed it up good...
More Rain!?!

I leave mine in a month at a time - parked at Don's Port - pull it out and use a hull cleaner on it ( Just spray it on and take it to the car wash) to keep it from discoloring and put it back in the water.

Algae growth on the bottom is slower in the cold water of winter.

You may be able to use sandy shores depending on the size of the boat. As for leaving the boat in the water you'll be fine most likely. Boats that spend there life in the water will sometimes get water intrusion and develop blisters. There is tons of info about blisters online. In your situation I doubt a month or two is going to cause you any problems other than the film of algae youll have on everything below the water line.
