I just can't see myself using this type of fly. It's bad enough being hit in the back by a size 10 beadhead nymph. I'd incapacitate myself.

Also the bigger the spinner the more "lift" it puts on the fly....smaller blades will allow it to go deeper. Larger blades cause it to rise. I hope that helps in your selection. Sometimes you want to above the grass and other times you want it deep. So many options!!
