Get some Costas or Maui Jims in Amber lens color and you will be just fine. I do a lot of sight fishing for reds and both of these brands are just fine. They are a bit speedy but you get what you pay for. I definitely like the Amber lenses for all around but I haven't really tried blue or green. I would think they would be better for deep sea applications but I have used amber for that too and they were fine.

Amber tends to increase contrast which always helps me spot fish. They make the world a more beautiful place as well.

FYI, The Polarchromic Copper Mirror lens I have been preaching about is an amber lens.

I've used many glasses and Costas are my top choice. I love the lifetime warranty. I would recommend the glass lenses just for the scratch protection.
