So Carey, I guess I should have checked source a little better, just took his word for it, since he fishes that creek EVERY DAY from November to March. He probably got it on heresay, and ran with it kinda like I did. Sorry about the misinformation but it would go a long way to explaining the poor fishing. Maybe this rain might at least get the sandies to move, with the stronger current and higher water levels in the creek.

since the bridge was put in, the numbers of game fish have took a dive. I think that's the prob. Or - we fished them out. Low water at every other creek makes people come to WRC. Lots more traffic the last 4 yrs.

shad definitely made it up, at least to skillman. I've been catching them just south of the skillman bridge. But ive had to throw a few more times than normal.

Im talking about by the billions. When you can actually see them..... there are a few pockets of them, but very small schools. No 300 lbs worth on each throw yet. Who knows, maybe they will come late.....

Very true, I had to work a lot harder to find them. Any theories as to why? the water temp definitely got cold enough...

not when you pull all those big slab crappie that normally hide under that stuff, then it becomes a little less sad.

Not too familiar with WRC, is that normal water level for the creek?
