Need help buying a new motor. 2-stroke or four stroke? Merc, Yamaha or Evinrude? All opinions are welcomed!

Take a good look at Yamaha 250 SHO best motor I have ever run
300 hrs on her and she runs like a new motor
Best hole shot and top end will peel your eyelids back all while sipping gas

imho
the engine you purchase should be determined by what kind of boat your putting it on.
and what your doing with it.
ie .. tourny fishing?
just playing?
some of both?
and what dealers are close to you that you like or use.

Yamaha SHO. I have the 225 and it has plenty of power and is very quiet!
