Brother and I decided to make the drive from Corpus to Zapata for an afternoon fishing trip/We hit the water a little afternoon at the State park and went to try a couple of points we had some luck on last trip. Fished about 45 minutes on points with no bites on C rig or T rig. We decided to try Mexico and headed over to salinieas (sp) where we caught all out fish. We had a total of 7 with the biggest 5 1/2 - 6#. The rest were in the 2-3# class. All were caught on the above mentioned rigs using wat. lizards in 6-8' of water. We left at 5:00pm after the clouds moved in and it started to cool off.
