Well they had to get hungry sometime, I sure hope they stay that way, I just got this and wanted to share it will all of you.
Sent to me from from Dave Wand, Striper Express Guide Service:
Fishing this winter has been amazing. We all have our “off” days like last Monday when my group only caught 4 fish all day with the biggest weighing 15 lbs 5 ozs. But the last two days fishing on Texoma have been the best I have ever experienced in 10 years. Two days ago we had a great day of Striper fishing and I took this group picture in the setting sunlight before we went in to clean the catch. These fellows from "up North" were impressed with these hard fighting Stripers for sure!

Yesterday this same group of 4 anglers from Nebraska caught and released over 400 pounds of Stripers on Moe Tackles 5" Flukes and 3/4oz jig lures and 1oz Road Runner Jigs with a 9” curly worm trailers. We fished the windy points, ditches and ledges - they were biting everywhere!!! It was just one of those days that comes along in a lifetime - and we enjoyed the heck out of it till dark. I'll share some "eye candy" as Chris Carey says now!

If you want to catch a TROPHY Striper on Lake Texoma the next 4 weeks would be a good time to fish… no matter what the weather. These giant fish are feeding and the lures and techniques we use are catching them daily. Call Striper Express to book a trip and get you some of this action now.

Dave I thought we were doing well here until you busted my bubble, big time! See you soon. Tell everyone hello for me.
If anyone needs help filling a trip contact me I will help you out all I can.
Larry

Hey Mike - yes. Just finished up our year long tournament with a couple thousand competitors world-wide. My team got 2nd in US region and I got 3rd place individual angler US region. And mostly thanks to Texoma Stripers. smile It was a good year. New team this year made up of all top US anglers - going to be another good one. Glad to see how strong the Texoma fishery is.......that will help with our success.

One added note. Not sure if anyone believes in the "Solunar Tables" for best fishing times each day and night, but this report from last Wednesday was the "BEST++" day of the solunar table month. I utilize these tables daily in the winter as long as the weather/ fronts have been stable a day or two. The Solunar Tables provide another good piece of information to plan your trips to fish or hunt. Almost all fishing magazines have solunar tables listed in them. I use www.EZFishin.com for my tables monthly. Try using them and see if you find the fish more active in the hours specified..FYI

Hi Guys,
On the main EZ Fishn page scroll down 1/4 page to:

"Can't find the location you are looking for in our database? Use our "Solunar Map Search instead."
Click the "Solunar Map Search" link

When that page pulls up click on US map where lake Texoma is. Next your cursor over the orange pin and click "Solunar monthly calendar"
The rest should be easy for the month you want.

I copy the calendar into EXCEL and massage it to the look I want. Let me know if you have more trouble or call the site for quick help.
