What's your experience with Mystery Tackle Box? Is it worth it?

Sample packs and colors you'd never use, every once in awhile you'd get something good or they'd add an extra something, checkout fish hound VIP, they give you good stuff and full packs and colors. Little more than MTB

I got Lucky Tackle Box for a surprise Christmas present--so far (one month in) I've been very happy with the soft plastics they sent. The hardbait the first month was a red wake bait--I tried it out on the water today, and yeah, I won't be throwing it much (not nearly as good as a Mann's one minus)

I got Tackle Grab for Christmas and just received my first box. It had a Backstabber crank bait, Strike Pro topwater, Culprit and Rage Tail plastics. I'm happy with it and will be throwing those plastics at Falcon in a few weeks.

You can catch fish off of what they send you, or you can buy exactly what you want and know works. I think it's cheap personally. I know guys that have it and they are fairly meh on it. It's fun to watch some of the MTB Slam videos on youtube however. All that said, I don't feel the 15 dollars ever justifies what you get.

Look up a channel on youtube called "flukemaster reviews" he gets the mystery tackle box each month and takes it onto the lake and catches a fish on each item provided in the box. I look forward to each video each month, but I don't think i would ever really pay for the boxes. If you want to try it he has a code on his channel for the first box $4.99 or something like that.

I dont know about mystery tackle box but I have had Lucky for about a year and have really enjoyed it.
The value is there vs. your $15 and I get to try things I might have never bought otherwise.
This month I was a "Lucky winner" and got a Live Target popper. Thost things alone run $12-$15.
But even on the month I dont get a "bonus" lure Ive been pretty happy with the stuff theyve sent.

My wife got me Mystery Tackle Box this Christmas so I've only received one box to date but I like it so far. I like to try new different baits and it's nice to know you've got something new coming every month. I can't remember exactly what I received this month except some craws in pumpkin that look pretty good, jig heads, grubs, slow falling jig, and a River 2 Sea Biggie Poppa.

My wife gave me 3 months of MTB for Christmas...I think she got a deal off groupon. I got my first one this month and it was cool. Got a River2Sea crank, shakey heads, two sample packs of plastics and a zero gravity jig...all the colors where colors I would use so not bad. I've been wanting to try the Bruiser Baits Crazy Craw so that was cool when it was in there. Would it be worth the $15 each month? IDK, guess I'll wait and determine after the next one. It's a pretty cool concept though. When ever my wife bought me lures for Christmas it was always off the recommendation of the sales guy at BPS or Cabelas so sometimes it was hit or miss too!

I got the exact same box as Matt . My sister gave it tome for Christmas this year. First shipment, descent stuff, already squirreled away in the boat.
