Mark was elected to the Texas fishing hall of fame. Most of you know that he caught Ethel ,
Texas record in 1986 , the first ever share a lunker. Ethel was on display at Bass pro shop in Springfield,
For many years.
His brother is my next door neighbor. Mark is a super guy and guides on lake fork.
Congrats to Mark.

Congrats! Time sure does fly by.....November 26, 1986 was a cool cloudy morning on Sam Rayburn as I remember fishing that day while Mark was fishing on Fork. I also remember catching several nice bass on a jig having no idea a giant bass was going to be caught on Fork that same day. Some things you never forget!

Time does fly! I caught a club record bass around that same time (1985) that stood for several years from Falcon.
That's 30 years ago this spring! WOW!

Right is right. Glad he was picked. Wasn't to fond of the qualifications that was in the rules for what made someone "qualified". Made it look like it was "for sale". Glad justice prevailed. Congratulations Mark!

I fished with Mark back in the 90's. He taught me how to jig fish. He is absolutely a great guy. I still have some of the jigs he gave me!
I do the things I do because the voices in my wife's head tell me to do them.
