I got a new fish finder for Christmas, and just now installing it due to being in South East Africa all of January. My question is to you guys who have the hull mount for your transducer, do you just use the standard transducer? I've seen plenty of install videos, I just want to make sure that mounting a standard transducer will work. Thanks!

It will depend on the type of FF you're using. If you have DI or SI it will make a difference. Also remember you're not going to get accurate water temp readings. I would suggest looking at mounting using a swing arm like the mad frog liberator.
