Banker, you hit the nail right on the head, winter is good for sure & spring/summer is outstanding. bannana2Last yr i caught longear up to 7 inches which is my personal best when it comes to longear.I feel like going right now but,the river came up considerably & the banks are a mess right now.

Nothing like those river Longear! If you really want to have some fun, float the SA and some other rivers and creeks deeper in the Hill Country and toss some 1.5" - 2" craw plastics on jigheads in the pools and undercut banks. Some of the scrappiest, hard fighting unique Longears you'll ever see. In the summer it's fun to see them come rising out from the depths of those pool to knock the hooks off of your favorite bream size topwater/crankbait.

Bless the Lord, O my soul,
and all that is within me,
bless His Holy Name!
