I'm looking to purchase power poles for my 98 skeeter zx202. What are the advantages and disadvantages of single and dual power poles? I need the opinion of a power pole owner.

2 is the way to go if you can afford it. Look at it this way, with only one, it is like throwing a anchor on a rope out the back of your boat. In the wind the front will swing where the wind blows it, and will not stay in one spot for very long. Hope this helps.

One is better than none, and two is better than one.
I ran a single for a few years and after you get used to it, and how to set up with it, there are no downfalls. With two its easier to set up and not pivot.

I bought one and found that the only thing it was good for was to make you want two.

If you have the money for two buy two. If you can only get one ,one is a thousand times better than not having any. Shallow water anchors are a game changer
