. It was a charging foul at best that ended in a flop or splash . Yep and the cops were called for a BS incident. I think enough damage has been done with all the publicity of the event. Move on to the next one.

Bass fishermen as role models, ever been to east fork during the "spawn"? 3/4 of the guys are the married church going type, getting all tuned up on hooch and looking for a good piece of trailer trash to, well you know.....

Ah forget it, I guess I look at things a little different. Like some said it's the society we live in. Actually it's the society we are building. Lord help us!

Yes, role models at the highest level of the sport. The guys you are talking about aren't professionals at the top of the game. Here's another real Pro's take on the situation. http://www.bassmaster.com/blog/tharp-toho-incident
Coincidence is His way of remaining anonymous.

Gilbert, I don't think discussing this incident further will lead to anything positive. Those involved and B.A.S.S. are the only ones who know what is happening behind the scenes. Whether we ever get an explanation from the circuit is irrelevant to me. What is relevant is the direction tournament bass fishing is headed. I don't like it one bit and I think most will agree with me. Here's an opinion piece from Joe Balog that pretty well sums up my feelings on the debacle. Mods, feel free to lock. http://www.bassfan.com/opinion_article.asp?ID=1298#.VMEVSdLF-So Thanks Mods...I just read about this for the first time.
The TFF never disappoints, always entertaining.

2 grown men had an altercation, emotions got the better of them and it happened.
They were both DQ'd so I sense the precedence has been established regarding how inappropriate behavior will be dealt with.
To belabor it beyond that is nothing more than time-kill.

I read Tharps article and he said everybody was beatin and bangin in the locks. No courtesy anymore, just me first attitude. After all that I think the article said that Morganthaler never went through a lock and won.
