 January and pond fishing go real good together with consistent weather.this bass and several others was caught in about 4 ft.water sticking tight to cover on the sunny side.my strike king bitsy bug jig with a watermelon red super speed craw was highly effective.this time of year smaller ponds warm up faster than big bodies of water and the bass really kick it in gear.

Just got to fish one today with the warm front blowin thru. No bigguns but did catch dozens of small dinks! Cant wait for spring

There use to be 2 or 3 ponds fairly close to me that I could fish, but no more. Sure miss that.
