Hey guys,

I'm trying to get out on Lewisville tomorrow (thursday) and I'm having problems finding a boatramp that is still usable. Anyone know of a good one to use? Thanks,

Lance

Well your best bet is probably Arrowhead park in Shady Shores/Lake Dallas.
1st exit north of I-35 bridge on lake Lewisville.
Immediately on your right don't go fast on exit or you will pass it up.
Take the right and when you get into park take another right.
One ramp is closed and other one is open. ramp closest to the freeway is open.

$3.00 to launch
Have fun good luck tell us how you do.

also stay to the left when you launch (As you are looking out toward water stay left closest to boat dock.)

I feel more like I do now than I did when I first got here!

Alright...what about little elm?

So is that the park with the boat ramp far to the north side and south side of the park, closest to the bridge?

I think Little Elm is open If you mean the by the 720 bridge. I know it was open a few weeks ago and the lake hasn't changed much if anything it is a litle higher than it has been.

you wrote "So is that the park with the boat ramp far to the north side and south side of the park, closest to the bridge?"

Not quite sure what you mean but Arrowhead park is just northeast of the railroad and I-35E freeway bridge that tcross the lake.

Look at this map I added a bunch of boat ramps on this side of the lake! Arrowhead #2 on the map is probably my favorite and then Westlake Park ramp next if I plan on being off the lake b4 dark.
There are others but this covers most areas of the lake.
Remember o zoom out and see the other ramps.

Thanks a lot Mark...I appreciate it. Westlake is closed though..drove out that way and they had it chained off....looked like a nice spot though.

Your welcome
I havn't been down to westlake lately. I just use Arrowhead now that Big Sandy is closed due to low water.
Thanks for the info. Hope to see you out there.
Did you come from Vernon?
