In the spring, are some lakes better for jig n cork presentation than others? Lake clarity, etc. Would love to hear from some of you crappie experts. I've had a little success with this but very limited. Could you offer tips and lakes that are better than others? I go toward East Texas a lot but open to any lakes. I am not asking for any spots. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

float ketchn is a year round thing it seems to me I am using it now and have been since last spring off and on its for the sure a very exciting way to ketch crappie for me lake clarity may or may not effect the presentation the clearer the water the faster you work it muddy or turbid water extra slow depth is somewhat a major factor though they will be extra shallow and extra aggressive in the spring and any lake should be pretty good if you can find them

imaging using 9' surf rod, 20# test braided line, 6' 15# leader, 1oz float, ketchn crappies 50' distance. That was a true challenge.
