To all out there looking for a great club. We are a small club based out of Arlington. We keep our entry fees low to avoid attracting "ringers". We are just a bunch of friends that enjoy fishing for bragging rights, and have a lot of fun. We have a tournament the 2nd Saturday of the month from Feb. to Nov. 2 day in April and October, nights in July and August. Our tournaments average 8-15 boats, 12 to 20 anglers. Even if you do not have a boat, and/or you are new to fishing, shoot me a messages, we have members that will help, and teach. Below is the link to our website, check it out. http://castawaybass.tripod.com/Thanks, and drop me a line. Jerry President Cast-A-Way Bass Club of Arlington

Ive known many of these guys for years and have a personal history with this club. I can tell you, that I miss this club and it's members more than anything else since moving to Georgia. Jerry is the president, and does a really great job at it. It is non-adversarial, low key competition and very family oriented with husbands and wives, father and children amongst the members. If you like to keep the monthly cashflow to a minimum yet still have a ball fishing with your friends then this is the club for you!

Thanks, Bob, just testing the waters to see if we can attract a few more members. I figured what better place to try than TFF.

InkMan...is this something your members would be interested in? Navionics is trying to reach out to clubs across Texas with this special offer. If so please spread with your members and have them either PM me or email me about it with their club name attached. As many of you may have heard, towards the end of last year, Navionics partnered with Vexilar to bring sonar and mapping together for smart phones and tablets. The system user the Navionics phone or tablet app the bring you split screen mapping and sonar just like on a chartplotter but allowing the transducer to either be used in a portable application or mounted permanently to your boat. It combines a wifi box and transducer to be used wherever you may go, you can even participate in the Sonar Chart program as the units are capable of recording sonar logs and downloading them straight to the Navionics web site. This is a huge deal for kayak or small craft fisherman as well as can be useful in normal craft or even bank fisherman. Navionics is looking for interested parties to send these units to and provide feedback. If any of you are interested in getting a vexilar unit, please PM me the following: Name Bass Club Email Address Phone# Physical Shipping address Area you fish mostly Thanks for supporting Navionics and helping to improve mapping and mapping options to everyone!!! Here is some more information about Navionics partnering with Vexilar to bring sonar and mapping together for Smart Phones and Tablets with a WIFI transducer than can be permanently mounted or made portable to bring from place to place or boat to boat. Check it out: http://www.navionics.com/en/sonarphone?u...exilar_Consumer
