I went out yesterday and fished skinny water 2 to 10 feet on the timber line near creek channels, and picked up good mess of blues to 25 pounds. We had a big problem, because the person I was with wanted eaters and all we were catching were 15 to 25 pound fish. Eventually we kept 5 teenages and a few 5 to 10 pound fish.
I will post pictures in a bit.

Sounds like a great day on the water!! Shad and small gaspergoo's , the guts of the cats were full of juvenile gaspergou... Good job , glad you got into some solid fish. Well thanks to you and Tom for pointing me to the right depth.
