I AM NEW TO THE AREA AND WANT TO LEARN THE CRAPPIE FISHING SECRETS BY LOCAL FISHERMAN. I have 2 boats, a Bass Tracker and a John Boat with 15 hp motor. I am retired ,so schedualing isnt much a problem. I retired from the Military, and from the Postal Service and am a Cajun who loves the water and fishing. My Email is Mrktoerner@aol.com Im an Good Bass Fisherman and Catfish too. Been fishin since i was 6.

lots of lakes around Fort Worth to fish, however most are almost unlaunchble due to low water levels. If Benbrook ever fills back up I'd be happy to show you around the lake a time or two.

I would be happy to show you around Benbrook some weekend. I pretty much only get out on weekends, unless I plan a little ahead and pull a vacation day. The next few, though, are probably shot. Working on getting ready to build a house, and need to get a waterline put in.

Being in Burleson, you also have Lake Alvarado close. That's a pretty good little lake for Bass and catfish. I caught a 10lb out of there when I still fished for Ditch Pickles.

Yes. But they way they are pumping water out of the lake I look for the last ramp to be closed within two weeks. I launched sunday and while putting my boat back on the trailer I hit my prop on the ramp
