Headed to Lake LBJ in 2 weeks I am new the the area and love to bass fish can anyone give me any info on the lake it would be much appreciated.( Hazards,running lanes,bass fishing tips etc.) Thanks

Fish to your strengths power fishing shallow or deep finess. Lbj has docks,points and a little bit of timber,and rock piles. I have luck on white crank baits and spinnerbaits. Plastics in green pumpkin/watermelon.

Water temps started at 48 degrees and got up to 51 on the lower end Saturday.

Same water temps on Sunday. 48-51. I talked to several fishermen and the bite was slow, but hey its still January.

Bass Champs isn't giving it much chance to warm up this year with the tourney being Feb 7th either.

Try a hags tornado f9 and throw it shallow next to muddy flats, yep that should do it!
