I have the weekend off, today and tomorrow! Today was spent in a classroom, hung tomorrow will be spent doing, property chores, hung again! Wright Patman is dumping water @ 6,400ish cfs, maybe I should be glad to be " hung ". Working 6days a week and the current river flow is putting a big "HURT" on my crappie catching time. mad

Probing brush for crappie is my game!

Do you know why they are dumping the water? The lake seems pretty low. It was at 223 before it started rising after the rains before they opened the gates.

Now that's a mess of good eatin!

USACOE is supposed to raise the lake level to 233 is what I was told this past summer by a USACOE official.Supposed to be in the near future to be able to pipeline (Sale) water to Dallas area.
The I.P. mill probably needs to flush their pollutants down river.
